Frank Stanford opened Ankina Coffee’s excellent training facility in April 2005.

Locally situated in Queanbeyan, training for you or your staff is easy! Just one night for approximately 3.5 hours will qualify you in your Level 1 Barista Certificate. Training sessions are conducted on Monday evenings at 6:30pm by appointment.

We welcome people from outside the industry who are looking to extend their knowledge of coffee making for their own pleasure. The methods taught during the course can also be used at home to make that perfect cup of coffee.

On completion of your certificate you will be able to:

Understand the principles of coffee making;
Grinding and Basic Grinder Maintenance;
Coffee Extraction Process;
Milk Texturing;
Commercial Espresso Machine Operations.

The cost of the evening is $120.00 with discounts for regular customers.
