| At the Belaroma Coffee Roasting Company they buy their green beans through a network of brokers across Australia. Their requirements are specific and their standards high. By utilizing a network of brokers they are able to get the best quality at the best prices, ensuring they deliver outstanding quality and value for money. Quality control at Belaroma is meticulous, from green bean delivery through to pack finish goods. Every bag is tested for moisture, bean size and quality before it is released to the master roaster and if it fails in any way it is rejected and returned to the broker. The Belaroma roasting system provides three quality checks through the roasting process, extracting all non bean materials to ensure their beans are in perfect condition when they reach you. Consistency is the most critical factor because it is essential to be able to repeat the results of a particular blending and required roast 'colour' time after time. Once roasted the goal is to pack the coffee in an oxygen free environment as soon as possible. Belaroma aim to pack and seal in an oxygen free environment within a foil-lined bag within 1 hour of roasting. The bag is nitrogen flushed and their one way valves guarantees real freshness for 6 months after roasting. | ||
