The Quarterdeck Café

The Quarterdeck Café, an iconic and well known coffee spot located in a  boatshed over the water on the picturesque Wagonga Inlet at Narooma. Open since 2001, The Quarterdeck is focused on delivering great customer service, hearty breakfasts and fresh sea food dishes at café prices. The ‘Deck has customers ranging from locals to tourists visiting the fantastic Eurobodalla region. The café has a colourful retro theme in its decor with windows that open completely to “bring the outside in” with stunning 180 degree views over the inlet, you are really sitting over the water in what is now a marine park.

Husband and wife team, Chris and Robin, run the ‘Deck in a polished, yet laid back way that is inherent of the way of life in Narooma. Robin is always at hand with the days’ specials and Chris is easy to pick in his Hawaiian shirts and easy banter with all the local going ons. Locals gather in an easy and friendly atmosphere to chat and while away the mornings over a well made brew.

Chris has selected Gusto Alerccino as the coffee for his Café and hasn’t looked back. Chris says, “After using three other brands of coffee, we have now been able to slip into a comfort zone being that the quality of the coffee has enabled us to let the coffee side of the business run itself, leaving me more time to focus on other aspects of the café”.

Chris adds “being a customer of Ankina for over two years, I am so confidant in Ankina Coffee and the service provided by Frank and his team, that  I have helped Frank convert five other cafes within the area to The Belaroma Coffee Roasting Company, all of who are now converts. We all work together and help one another. Its like we are all on the same team”

With its unique position, fantastic cuisine and suburb coffee this eclectic café  and well known landmark is open from Thursday through until Monday for Breakfast and Lunch from 8am-4pm.
