The Flute Bakery brings more to the people of Canberra than any other bakery. With first class chefs personally hand crafting all the Flutes products you can expect nothing less than perfection.
The Flute is classically French with hand crafted artisan bread, pastries, cakes, sandwiches, pies and quiche.
Whist not quite tucked away and hidden, the site very cosmopolitan and has attracted a serious following of Canberrans that regularly make the “pilgrimage” to Fyshwick for superb breads and pastries made lovingly on the premises. The locals who patronise the premises regularly, continue to keep returning week after week. During winter, Brett, the Master Chef produces a different soup daily that is often all gone before lunch proving again that a quality product will attract.
“Four years on it is exciting for us to see our coffee trade grow by using such a superb blend of coffee. We started with another of the Belaroma Blends that suited the style of the patisserie at the time, but have since upgraded to Delacremm and watched the sales of our coffee grow amazingly. We choose Belaroma coffee beans because the flavour is just right – never bitter or dull and always consistent!” says Belinda. Part owner and barista.
